The PROTUG 18, with IMO number 8410213, is one of the most important and reliable tugboats operated by ProMarine Innovations. Built in 1984, it has since provided towing services across all of Greece. For many years now, the PROTUG 18 has been a valuable member of our company, offering solutions and delivering services wherever needed.

The PROTUG 18 has a bollard pull capacity of 18 tons, and is powered by a MIRLEES BLACKSTONE main engine, generating a total output of 1,125 horsepower. Its performance capabilities are such that it can take part in and successfully complete high-difficulty operations. The tugboat measures 28.22 meters in length and 7.83 meters in width. Its gross internal tonnage amounts to 139 tons, making it a versatile tool in the hands of our experienced personnel, who operate across Greece and have participated in numerous towing operations in some of the country’s largest and most significant ports and beyond. With thousands of nautical miles to its record, from one end of the Mediterranean to the other, the PROTUG 18 continues to provide its services throughout 2024, remaining in constant readiness for any need that may arise.
