Tugboat PROTUG 40
PROTUG 40, with IMO number: 9410818, is a small, agile, and powerful tugboat that serves our company with absolute reliability and efficiency. With 17 years of active service, PROTUG 40 was built in 2007 at the DD shipyard in Belgrade, Serbia, following the standards of the Damen shipyard and specifically the Stan Tug 2208 design.
PROTUG 40 has a bollard pull of 40 tons and is powered by two CATERPILLAR 3512B propellers, delivering a total power output of 2,270 horsepower. This makes our tug capable of delivering outstanding and dependable performance, even under the most demanding towing conditions. Its maximum speed of 11 knots ensures timely intervention in any situation.
